Dow International Medical
College (DIMC) is located in
Karachi,Pakistan.DIMC is a
constituent college of the
famous Dow University of
Health Sciences, Karachi.The
college is listed in IMED and
recognised by Pakistan Medical &
Dental Council and World Health
Organisation. Dow International
Medical College offers
admissions in MBBS/BDS to
Overseas Pakistani Students for
the session 2010.

Details:

* Students will be selected on
merit based on SAT II scores or
IBBC Equivalence certificate
marks.

* No age limit for applicants.

* Overseas students will not
appear in the entrance test.

* Classes for the session 2010
will start from 5th October,
2010.

* Admission of the selected
student will be finalized only
when he/she pays the tuition
fee (15,000 US $) for the First &
2nd Semesters.

Eligibility:

* The student should have
passed Secondary School
Examination(Matric) /O Level or
Equivalent Examination from
any recognized institution.

* The student should have
passed Higher Secondary School
Examination(H.SC)/A Level or
Equivalent Examination.

* The student should submit
IBCC Pre-medical group
Equivalence Certificate with
minimum 60 % marks OR SAT II
score minimum 550 separately
in Biology, Chemistry & Physics/
Mathematics.

* TOEFL score 500 or IELTS score
5.5 is necessary for a student
who has studied in a school in
which the medium of
instruction from 9th to 12th
grade is other than English.

Required Documents:

* Application form downloaded
from DUHS webesite.

* Copy of all academic
transcripts till 12th grade.

* Copy of Higher School
Examination Certificate.

* Copy of SAT II (Biology,
Chemistry, Physics/Mathematics)
or IBCC Equivalence certificate.

* 6 recent Passport size
photographs.

* TOEFL or IELTS certificate (For
specific students).

* Copy of Passport of the
student and his/her Father's or
Guardian's Passport.

* Proof of Overseas Pakistani
citizenship.

Application Procedure:

* Last date for the submission
of applications is 25th
September,2010.

* Application forms for
admission into DIMC can be
download from DUHS website
http://www.duhs.edu.pk

* The student should submit the
application processing fee 500
US $ by Bank Draft in the favour
of DUHS Karachi.

* The students who need IBCC
Equivalence Certificate should
visit IBCC website
( www.ibcc.edu.pk) to apply for
Equivalence Certificate.

* The student should submit the
completed application form with
required documents personally
or send by email to
(admissions@duhs.edu.pk).
